Dresser / Chest of Drawers
Disposal Rules
Dressers and chests are accepted in dumpsters. Remove drawers before loading — it makes the piece lighter and the drawers can be nested or stacked separately to save space.
Pro Tip
Remove all drawers and load them separately. The empty frame is much lighter and easier to maneuver.
Alternatives
Thrift stores and furniture banks accept dressers in good condition. Painted vintage dressers can be resold.
